Bio                                                                                                           

 

cumberlandfalls.jpgMike Austin has a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Colorado-Boulder.

His research specialty is the role of ethics in contemporary life. Austin has published

articles in several academic journals, and is the author or editor of 7 books, including

Conceptions of Parenthood: Ethics and the Family (Ashgate, 2007) and

Football and Philosophy: Going Deep (University Press of Kentucky, 2008).

He is also a featured speaker for the Kentucky Humanities Council.

His work is grounded in the conviction that the moral life is the most fulfilling life.
