Catalog Description
The course provides an introduction to e-business infrastructure, tools, and the development of e-business solutions with these tools. Topics include the Internet and World Wide Web; client-side Web applications; the basics of HTML, XML, and scripting languages.

Course Objectives
- In depth analyses of the Internet infrastructure technologies
- Understand the Internet and World Wide Web as a platform for building client-server applications
- Understand the basics of HTML/XHTML, CSS, XML, XSL, and Javascript
- Develop e-business applications using the client side tool
Grading
Your performance will be evaluated in three areas: class participation and attendance (3%), assignments and projects (82%), and three quizzes (15%). The following grading scale will be used: A (above 90%), B (between 90% and 80%), C (between 80% and 70%), D (between 70% and 55%), F (below 55%)
