Jupiter (all obtained by processing AVI's using Registax. The AVI were obtained using a webcam (logitek quickcam pro 4000 or Celestron's NexImage), a
telescope 1.25" adapter and a Barlow. Many telescopes were used. The first 5 were obtained using a 5" Maksutov
These are images obtained with a bigger scope, the Department of
Physics and Astronomy 11" Schmidt-Cassegrain
telescope (SCT).
The last row are images obtained with a 8" sct, under better conditions.
The last image is actually an animated
gif of Jupiter, showing the rotation and the shadows of some of its satellites.
