http://www.people.eku.edu/806textreviewpodcast.mp3  Textbook Review – This audio file provides a brief overview of the requirements and process for completing the textbook review.  This is an mp3 file.  Right click and play or save to your computer to play at your convenience.  It would be helpful for you to open Blackboard to course documents and have your Vacca & Vacca text available as well.  (This is my first attempt to create a pod cast!  I hope to be able to save these in MP3 format eventually.) This podcast takes about 10-15 minutes).

in the Middle Grades

This course is required of all students majoring in middle grades education with an emphasis in English & Communications.  This class is part of the Middle Grades methods block which is taught during Fall semesters only.  Students must complete this course prior to student teaching. Because it is part of the block, the schedule varies.  Students will practice unit development and lesson planning, complete field and clinical experiences in an area middle school English classroom, and develop a complete teaching unit.
