This work is a setting of the poem "Broken Things" by Sara Teasdale.
The sounds of the vocalist and the piano were modified using IRCAM's Audiosculpt and then complied using Rt, a soundfile mixing program.

This piece makes use of the FOF Csound module, which simulates the singing voice.
