Batman Goes to Bed

He takes off his cape and
        hangs it up on the back of his rocking chair,
Picks up his blanket and snuggles into
        his pillow with his teddy bear.
The daring adventures he's played at all day long
        succeed without fail,
And by nightfall the monsters and bad guys
        are all locked up in jail,
And the world is safe, once again,
        for little boys and big men.
