Spring Run
It's a crystal clear spring morning
And the frost is on the roof,
The sun is coming up to find
The jogger on the hoof.
I climb the hill and round the curve;
Begin to set my pace,
When on the concrete,
Yesterday's
Warm Spring
Afternoon,
Chalk drawn
Hopscotch
Recalls a childhood place.
Break pace!
