Lesson 1 is used to familiarize you with the major areas of Creative Problem Solving as a field of study.  In this class, we will be concerned with such major topic areas as: (1) Problem Solving; (2) Creativity; and (3) Design and Innovation.

Your primary assignment for Lesson 1 is to develop a Bibliography that you can use for this course.

 

This lesson will emphasize the use of an Internet search and current databases to learn more about Creative Problem Solving.

Assignment:

 

1.          Develop a Bibliography that you can use for this course.  Include at least five references for each of the three major topics listed in the introduction to Lesson 1. (15 total).  You should have a mix of book, magazine /journal, and Internet resources for each topic.  Try to use current sources (since 1990).

 

2.    Place your completed assignment in your Portfolio.  Label it as "Lesson 1 Bibliography."

 

3.          Consider a book from your search that you could use for your- ml -term book report.

 

4.    Be prepared to share one or more of your resources with the class during the online time.
