Enhancing Online Learning with Quality Video and Audio Instructional Products:
Best Practices Applied

Through an award from the EKU Foundation Grant, the Instructional Development Center (IDC) and the Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) will support the following faculty members to participate in a Professional Learning Community (FLC) beginning in September 2007 and running through April 2008:

This PLC will focus on enhancing online instruction for programs at EKU. The IDC will provide assistance in the development of quality instructional products. Each participant will produce 1-5 online instructional video products using Camtasia software.

The final products will be displayed at the Professional Learning Community Exhibit on April 22, 2008 in the Keen Johnson Building (Faculty Loung) from 11:30am - 1:30pm. In addition, each participant has agreed to serve as a mentor to demonstrate and/or train others to use the software and hardware components utilized.
