Scholarship Fund

Lambda Alpha Epsilon has established a scholarship fund whereby funds are set aside for qualifying students to receive assistance with their national membership fee.

The fund is referred to as the KPKSHM fund, and is named after the faculty advisor and first appointed officers. It takes its name from the first letter of each of their last names as follows:

                                                                  Stephen Kappeler        K = Knowledge

                                                                  Beverly Patterson        P = Perseverance

Rebecca Keltner K = Keen

Kelly Schwartz S = Scholastic

Teresa Hinkle H = Honor

                                                                  Jeffrey Marcum M = Morals

The acronym stands for qualities we strive for as faculty advisor and officers, and our hope is that these traits are exhibited by each member as they pursue their education at Eastern Kentucky University.

Anyone wishing to make contributions to the KPKSHM Scholarship Fund may do so by making their check or money order payable to Lambda Alphi Epsilon - Theta Gemma - Corbin Chapter and mailing it to the following address:
