What is Lambda Alpha Epsilon (LAE)?
LAE is a nationally recognized criminal justice organization. Although it is not considered an honorary society and there are no minimum grade point requirements, it does hold high standards of commitment to students, law enforcement agencies, and to the community.
Each year, LAE holds a national conference with excellent speakers and workshops. They hold competitions including corrections, criminal law, juvenile law, physical agility, crime scene investigations, and a national pistol match. They also offer and award scholarships each year to the members who wish to apply for them.
The LAE Journal and the National Newsletter are the official publications by the Association.
Just as a point of interest, the Corbin chapter of LAE is in Region 5.
