This is the website for the EKU Chaos Theory Research Group, an interdisciplinary research group interested in solving problems using the tools of Chaos Theory and Nonlinear Dynamics.

Chaos Theory is a interdisciplinary science which proivides a set of tools to solve problems dealing with complicated systems. While Chaos Theory is often associated with physics and mathematics, the tools of Chaos Theory are also being used in diverse disciplines such as: biology, chemistry, economics, and sociology, just to name a few.

The EKU Chaos Theory Research Group currently meets once per week to discuss progress on our research problems. Currently, we are working on problems in the fields of nonlinear time series analysis, astrophysics, and music.

We invite you to explore our site and see what our group is all about. If you are interested in working with the EKU Chaos Theory Research Group, please contact Dr. Christopher Kulp. Interested faculty or students may join in on any of our current problems or initiate a new one.
