A little about me!
Places I have lived:
Family:
Gail is the National Education Director for the National Association for State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA). She enjoys canoeing and scrapbooking. My father is currently working for Thomas, Bennett, and Hunter, a concrete construction company near Frederick, MD. My mother is an resource teacher in Frederick, MD. She is also a writer and has a few publications. Tim is a software engineer for a company called MedEx.
My hobbies:
I do have a life outside of physics. On occasion, I actually get to experience it! I am getting into cycling. I have a new hybrid-bike that I can't wait to ride.
I enjoy reading about a variety of topics from philosophy to science fiction. Currently, I am reading The Andromeda Strain.
I also enjoy playing video games. I grew up with a Nintendo Entertainment System and I haven't left the hobby since! I enjoy both retro-gaming and modern games. I currently own a Wii, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, and Sega Genesis. Currently I am playing Saint's Row and Wii Sports.
I also study martial arts. The martial arts have changed my life in more ways than I can fit on this page. However, if you have a child who is having a hard time coming out of their shell, a martial arts class may be for them. A great instructor can end up becoming an important person in a child's life. I have studied American Kenpo Karate since 1991.
