Christmas Party Fudge
At our annual college Christmas party many ask for this fudge recipe. So, I thought I'd keep it on file here.
Ingredients
- 24 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 14 ounces evaporated milk
- 5 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 lb. butter
Instructions
Place butter, chocolate chips, chocolate squares, and vanilla in mixing bowl that can take a little heat. Set this aside.
Combine milk and sugar in sauce pan over medium heat. Bring mixture to a full boil. Allow it to continue at a full boil for 7 minutes. Stir constantly. Pour this mixture
over the ingredients in the mixing bowl. Stir until mixture is throughly combined. Pour into large cake pan. Allow to cool.
