Assignments

(From the syllabus): Given the exploratory nature and "lab" orientation of the class, assignments and - to a certain extent - quizzes and tests will be given based on the needs and direction of the class. I will do my best to keep assignments posted on the assignments page [which is this page] of the class web site, but the way to be certain is to be present at class for announcements. Please note that students are responsible for announcements made in class whether or not they are present.
Jazz/Pop chord Notation and other pieces of the "Jazz Language"
- Get to know the chord handout given in class. It can aso be found here as a Finale 2010 and PDF file. Right-clicking (control-clicking on a Mac) should allow you to copy the file to your computer.
