African Freshwater Alligator

* Females may reach the size of 7.8 feet and 20 pounds.

* Males may reach the size of 8-10 feet and 40 pounds.

* They are the smartest of the reptiles, but their brain is only the size of a cigar.

* They can be found in freshwater lakes, billabongs, swamps, rivers, creeks, and wetlands.

* They have 68-72 teeth in their mouths.

* The fourth tooth can be seen when their mouth is closed.
