Panda

            * The panda may look clumsy or clownish, but it can    stand and even climb trees.

            * They eat grasses, leaves, stems, bark and tree fungi.

            * When they are full grown, they can weigh up to 300 pounds.

            * The babies are as small as a newborn kitten.  During the first year they can weigh as much as 90 pounds.

            * They live in the misty, cloud covered mountains of China.  They are losing more and more of their habitat each day.
