Red Kagaroo

* The red kangaroo eats grass, leaves, and roots.

* They live in the Australian Outback where there is plenty of dirt and grasslands.

* Kangaroos have a pouch that they carry their babies in for about 2-3 weeks after its born.

* A baby kangaroo is called a joey.

* Animals that have pouches like the kangaroo are called marsupials.

* They usually live in groups called mobs.  A mob normally contains a male, 2 or 3 females, and joeys.
