Kentucky's Flora & Fauna:

    You'll be expected to become familiar with some of the common plants and animals in Kentucky. The 'list' is provided (with links) at http://www.biology.eku.edu/ritchiso/kysflorafauna.html.
 

Schedule:

    We will follow the weekly outline in the schedule below. Our 'online week' begins on Monday (day one) and ends on Sunday (day seven).
 

Course Requirements:

    1 - There will be 4 100-pt. exams during the summer, plus an optional comprehensive test.

    2 - Exams will include questions from material covered in lecture notes and the text.

    3 - Exams will consist of essay questions.

    4 - Review questions from the text will be provided for each exam (Exam 1, Exam 2, Exam 3, Exam 4, & Comprehensive Exam).

    5 - The comprehensive is optional and can be used to improve your grade (i.e., you can drop your lowest previous score on the first 3 exams if you do better on the comprehensive test). The comprehensive test cannot be used as a substitute for Exam 4. Everyone must take Exam 4.
 

Grading: Grades will be assigned on the basis of 400 possible points: 360 - 400 = A, 320 - 359 = B, 280 - 319 = C, 240 - 279 = D, & 239 or less = F.
 

Mid-term Grade: Your grade at mid-term will be provided with your score on Exam 2.
