“Hello everybody!” Trained as a behavioral ecologist and endocrinologist, I received my Ph.D. from Lehigh University and went on to do my post doctorate at Cornell University. Being at Eastern Kentucky University has allowed me to combine my love of showing undergradutes the world of science while trainng and interacting as a peer with an exceptional graduate student body (though I do miss a good NY Deli from time to time).
Besides Kentucky, my research has taken me to places like the Florida Keys, Jamaica and Costa Rica to study fish behavior. I combine laboratory and field studies to understand the ultimate and proximate mechanisms that underlie the modulation of social behavior. Come inside and take a closer look.
